Puglisi Peanut Butter |
By Jason Akl
The Peanut Butter is another of Enrico Puglisiís great baitfish creations. We assume it got its name because fish world-wide seem to find it extremely tasty. Striped bass, bluefish, snook and sea trout, and just about everything that swims and has teeth seem to eat these flies with reckless abandon. One of the real keys to the Peanut Butterís great success is that it imitates many of the small and important baitfish that big predator fish seek out. Cast this fly long and hold on tight because it wonít take more than a few seconds to get attention from fish.
Tie this fly in sizes 4 - 1/0. You can tie it in a variety of colors to match specific baitfish.
