We welcome guests on the eastern slope of the Andes Mountain Range, in Northwestern Patagonia in Argentina. Our venue occupies thousands of hectares on the banks of the Aluminé River, a worldwide known environment among lovers of fly-casting.
The topography of the area features mountainous zones with deep valleys, thus offering various kinds of sceneries, mixing woodlands of thick monkey-puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana) and mountain range cypresses (Austrocedrus chilensis) -a species unique in the world-, “mallines” (humid areas rich in grass) and high rocky summits exposed to the wind.
The Fishing:
Lovers of fly-casting or fly-fishing will have the benefit of our 15-kilometer-long coastline on the Aluminé River. This watercourse is known as the Collón Cura trout reserve, where anglers may catch excellent specimens of salmonidae (rainbow, brown and Fontinalis trout). Enjoy fishing in these rivers and creeks as you stay at our lodge located in a completely exclusive site, on the banks of the Aluminé River.
Our expert guides will accompany guests and coordinate interesting fishing programs, combining shore casting (wading), with boat fishing.
The Accommodations:
Surrounded by a picturesque landscape, our inn offers 4 rooms with private bathroom, an integrated living-room and dining-room with comfortable armchairs and a deck located a few meters away from the river. Cozy spaces and the best assistance for guests to enjoy every moment with typical delicacies of regional cuisine and the best Patagonian wines.
Additional activities:
Big Game Hunting:
Customized assistance for small groups. Wild red deer hunting. The large game preserves (over 5,000 hectares) situated in Northern Patagonia on the Andes Mountain Range turn hunting into a real challenge and a completely different and exciting experience.
Outings consist in covering some stretches on horseback and others on foot, always accompanied by expert local guides.
Horse-riding and hiking: Lovers of nature, outdoor life and horses will have the choice to go on these tours on their own or accompanied by excellent guides. They will enjoy the thousands of hectares and access unique sites which are usually out of reach.
